How to replace your Onda V972 Battery.
My Battery finally failed. It was great while it lasted. 2 years of pure labor and then I couldn't seem to use my tablet unless it was plugged in.
Sorry, it's a mobile device, if you have to tether yourself to the AC charger than you need to go back to your Desktop Computers.
I searched for a better battery and I found one on Amazon.
Here's my review over at Amazon: Murray W Review of battery.
This is the link to the actual battery.
Geilienergy Tablet Battery 3.7V 5000mAh Polymer Li-ion Battery For Many of 7,8,9 Inch Tablet Battery Dimension ( Length 3.54'' X Width 3.15'' X Thick 0.18'')
Now for the facts.
I replaced the batteries and used the OEM circuit tabs (boards) that control battery charge and discharge. It worked for about 10 hours and then one day of heavy use when I shut down the tablet it didn't boot, wouldn't charge. But it seemed like it wanted to.
After review I added the OEM circuits back to the replacement batteries and installed them without the OEM Onda circuit tabs (boards). The battery now seems to have more life reading from the Onda and charges just fine.
I will update if I find something different.
Note: I have noticed that when using non OEM replacement parts you may have to do some testing. My K-Touch phones used a different battery but I had to use both circuit boards (tabs) to make the battery read and charge properly.
For my Onda, it was simply time to remove the old OEM tabs and replace them with the ones that came with my new batteries.
The picture below shows the OEM Onda v972 Battery Circuit. I ended up removing this and attaching (soldering) the leads from the new batteries directly to the Onda board -/+ battery connection.

Then the Right battery with circuit board.
The following is a picture of the new battery.
You will need to have 2 batteries to create the mAh (amps) you need (10,000 mAh) to run your tablet.
In the picture below you will see the old circuit connections with black and red wires. I removed these circuits and use the ones that came with the replacement batteries. The 2 sets of Black and Red wires will solder fine to the + and 1 pad. You will need to flux and tin to make it perfect.
You should be back watching full movies.
To answer your question: No, I do not receive anything from the Amazon seller. I ordered 2 batteries and that's all. I had spent time researching size to mAh and found these to be in my best categories.
